Code for Movie
Try the following code first;
<embed src="Moviename here.mp4"
pluginspage="http://www.apple.com/quicktime/" controller="false"
loop="true" autoplay="true">
Put your movie file outside your media folder.
If the above does not work, try one of the following snippets of code:
To include a movie into your web page, you should use the following code. The code is followed by what this object will look like. I have include two code snippets, one that allows you to just place the object (the movie) on your page, the other places it in a table with a colored background.
Place the following code into the body of your page.
<object data="Freezing in 105.mov"
type="video/quicktime" ="" align="left"
border="2" height="160" hspace="4" vspace="4"
width="180"><br>
</object>
If you would like to include a border around your video, include it as an object in a table. The code to accomplish this appears below.
<table
style="text-align: left; width: 100px; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 204);"
border="1" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="2">
<tbody>
<tr>
<td><object data="Freezing in 105.mov"
type="video/quicktime" ="" align="left"
border="2" height="160" hspace="4" vspace="4"
width="180"><br>
</object></td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>
This code should appear between your body tags where you want to include it.
What does this all mean? The <object > tag allows you to insert lots of different multimedia into a web page. In this case we are identifying the name of the movie "Freezing in 105.mov" and the type of multimedia object that are we are including with the type attribute which is "video/quicktime". The remaining tags are standard attribute tags in HTML.

The series of numbers in the last panel is also a well known mathematical series.
Put the name of the series on your next test below your name, and I will give you 3 extra points. # - Mr. Carlson - 7 January 2007; 11:16:08 AM -
Cool Urban Legend
The following email made the rounds in this building and although it is an example of both the power of technology and of the internet to spawn and promote rumors, it still is a pretty cool digital creation. See what you think.
The email goes something like this.
"I have never seen anything like this. Balls hit multiple music "strings" and are precisely recovered - No balls bouncing on the floor. Who said engineers are boring?
This incredible machine was built as a collaborative effort between the Robert M. Trammell Music Conservatory and the Sharon Wick School of Engineering at the University of Iowa. Amazingly, 97% of the machines components came from John Deere Industries and Irrigation Equipment of Bancroft Iowa, yes farm equipment!
It took the team a combined 13,029 hours of set-up, alignment, calibration, and tuning before filming this video but as you can see it was WELL worth the effort.
It is now on display in the Matthew Gerhard Alumni Hall at the University of Iowa and is already slated to be donated to the Smithsonian.
That is the email. The video follows. Option Click on this link instrument video for a download of the movie. You must remove the .html extension from the file that is downloaded to watch it. Watch it and see what you think. Read the follow up after watching.
The video is amazing, no question, but the "fantastic machine" depicted therein wasn't built out of farm equipment parts at the University of Iowa. It's an example, rather, of the incredible 3D computer animation created by Wayne Lytle and his team at [ http://urbanlegends.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm?site=http://www.animusic.com/ ]Animusic in Austin, Texas. No such machine exists in the real world.Nor, for the record, is there a "Robert M. Trammell Music Conservatory," a "Sharon Wick School of Engineering," nor a "Matthew Gerhard Alumni Hall" at the University of Iowa. The caption accompanying the video in emails circulating since November 2006 is entirely fictitious, authored by an anonymous prankster.You can view a clip from the original video, entitled "Pipe Dream," in its proper context [ http://urbanlegends.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm?site=http://www.animusic.com/dvd%2Dinfo%2Dclips%2D1.html ]here. # - Mr. Carlson - 18 December 2006; 10:08:35 AM -
